I'm a graduate of University of Illinois with a BS degree in Accounting. I've worked in many industries (as a both as an Auditor with a Big 5 Accounting Firm and as a Controller or Assistant Controller ), having learned as much as possible about various accounting practices, reporting requirements, internal controls, operational and management issues, etc. of those industries (manufacturing, service, medical, real estate, etc.). Most companies I worked at were small- to medium-sized businesses. I have a STRONG understanding of the accounting needs for small- and medium-sized businesses. I am a Certified Public Accountant; a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor; an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor; a member of the Intuit Speakers Bureau; an original member of the Intuit Enterprise Solution Provider program; and a Certified Sleeter Consultant. I am a member of numerous accounting, and bookkeeping organizations which require a minimum number of CPE per year in order to maintain membership.
