Question: How well do I need to know QuickBooks and/or other accounting software to attend the conference?
Answer: There are no prerequisites for attending the conference, but the conference is not intended to teach the basics of QuickBooks or other accounting software. The conference is packed with consulting topics such as evaluating, installing, troubleshooting and supporting accounting software. The conference focuses heavily on QuickBooks and products that integrate with QuickBooks, but also includes topics on many other products in the market.

Question: I already know a lot about Accounting Software. Should I attend?

Answer: No. We use a "big screen" presentation method. The conference binder that you will receive includes detailed information coordinated with the presentations on the big screen. Answer: Yes, we have reserved a room block at the rate of $179/night at the Renaissance Hotel and Spa. The weekend rate prior to and following the conference is also $179. Question: Will I be given information about The Sleeter Group Consultants Network at the conference?

Question: When is the SGCN Dinner? Who can attend? What's for Dinner?
Answer: The Sleeter Group Network Dinner will be held on Wednesday, 11/12. The event will begin with no host cocktails on an outdoor veranda from 5:30 – 6:30. We will then move to an indoor dining area at 6:30pm. All Sleeter Group Consultant Network members are invited to register to attend the dinner. The cost is $55 per person. If you wish to attend the dinner, you must register in advance (through the regular registration process). Attendance is limited so please register early. Additional guest requests (non members) will be placed on a waiting list and be admitted on a space available basis. Dress for the dinner will be business-casual. Answer: Full refunds will be issued if written cancellation is received by August 10, 2008. Refunds less a $35 cancellation fee, per person, will be issued on written requests received by October 10, 2008. No refunds or credits will be given after October 10, 2008.
