Doug Sleeter - Founder and President, The Sleeter Group, Inc.

Doug Sleeter has taught over 30,000 accountants and QuickBooks users how to properly use QuickBooks software. Mr. Sleeter has worked with hundreds of QuickBooks consultants in numerous industries since 1994. Mr. Sleeter was a pioneer in developing the first QuickBooks seminars in the country and was selected to develop early Intuit training materials. In 2002, Intuit Inc., the developer of QuickBooks software, recognized The Sleeter Group's quality by endorsing their QuickBooks Technology Workshops and Managing & Marketing Your Practice Seminars for accounting professionals. Mr. Sleeter continues to consult with Intuit on numerous product development projects.

Mr. Sleeter's in-depth knowledge of QuickBooks and his "systems" approach to solving small business accounting problems has earned him the reputation of being one of the nation's leading QuickBooks experts. Mr. Sleeter is the author of numerous books, videos and courseware materials including The QuickBooks Consultant’s Reference Guide, Introduction to QuickBooks Textbooks, Introduction & Advanced Seminar Workbooks, The Mastering QuickBooks Video Learning Systems, The QuickBooks & Accounting Technology Conference Video System, Marketing & Managing Your QuickBooks Consulting Practice, The Successful QuickBooks Consulting System, and the Sleeter Group's online newsletter: The Desktop Accountant.

In addition to his accounting background working in CPA firms, Mr. Sleeter has extensive experience in the software industry working with software developers and industry leaders Apple Computer, Adobe Systems, Silicon Graphics and Quorum Software. Mr. Sleeter holds a BA degree in Computer and information Science from University of California at Santa Cruz and has completed several MBA courses at Santa Clara University.

Steve Blundell, CPA - Senior Manager Vendor/Partner Relations, Intuit Inc. As Senior Manager of Vendor and Partner Relations for Intuit’s Accountant Central division, Mr. Blundell is responsible for Intuit’s partner strategy within the professional accountant industry.  Prior to his “semi-retirement” from Intuit, he served as vice president and general manager of the professional products group as well as the Intuit Advisor Group. In that role, Mr. Blundell managed the development of accountant-oriented programs designed to help professionals make more money and better serve their clients through partnering with Intuit.

 

 

 

Greg LaFollette, CPA, CIPT is the President & CEO of Accounting Technology Resource Network  and Executive Editor of the CPA Technology Advisor. Prior to joining CSI in February 1999, Greg was the Tax & Technology partner at LaFollette, Jansa, Brandt & Co., LLP, (now Brandt, Solomon & Anderson, LLP) in Sioux Falls, SD. The firm, which he founded in 1980, remains significant in the trade area. BS&A continues to be a technology leader in the Midwest. Greg has served on several AICPA technology committees and currently chairs the prestigious CITP Credential Committee and serves on the Top Ten Technologies Committee and the TECH20XX Planning Committee. He works closely with several independent user groups, firm associations, and state society technology committees. Greg completed his professional training at Augustana College and is a graduate of and staff lecturer at the AICPA/University of Illinois National Tax Education Program. He is a CPA and a CITP and also a member of the AICPA Tax and Information Technology Divisions.

 

 

Randy Johnston is executive vice president and partner of K2 Enterprises and Network Management Group, Inc. Randy is known as one of the 2004, 2005 Accounting Today’s Top 100 Most Influential People and one of nine technology stars in the U.S. – according to Accounting Technology Magazine. Randy owns multiple businesses that he has started during his esteemed twenty-seven years in technology and management consulting.
