Last fall, in Chicago, we presented our first practice management and marketing seminar, focusing on helping CPA’s and accountants to market QuickBooks consulting services and to better manage their relationships with clients who use QuickBooks. Due to an overwhelming response from our attendees at this seminar, we will be presenting a series of seminars this year called “Managing and Marketing Your Practice.” The Sleeter Group will also continue to present our highly regarded consultant-level QuickBooks technical training this year. The Sleeter Group will offer both of these curriculums in 30 cities across the country during 2002. (See the schedule to the right of this column for more information).

We designed our two-day practice management and marketing curriculum on the foundation of our year’s of experience in consulting with QuickBooks users as well as the collective experiences of our highly trained network of Sleeter Group Certified Consultants. In this seminar we bring you practical techniques for growing your client base, increasing profitability and reducing non-billable time. In our two-day, consultant-level QuickBooks technical training we provide essential updates about the latest version of QuickBooks (and developments at Intuit) as well as intensive technical training about the use of the QuickBooks program. This is NOT an beginner’s workshop! We strongly recommend that attendees have some experience in using the program (or a strong grasp of accounting principles) prior to attending. We design the curriculum around the needs of accountants who work with QuickBooks users and include topics like setting up and troubleshooting data files. Our QuickBooks Technology Workshops are packed full of new content each year. So whether you attended a seminar with us before or are considering doing so for the first time, you will find great value in your time spent with us.

In 19 selected cities, we will bring you both of these seminars in the same week. Spend the first two days polishing your QuickBooks skills, then stay on for two more days to better grow and manage your QuickBooks consulting practice.
