A Message from Doug Sleeter

This month we released our 2005 classroom training materials (Learning QuickBooks Step-by-Step). This complete teaching system gives teachers everything they need for the classroom including complete student text, end-of-chapter tests and problems, instructor teaching notes, PowerPoint slides, and a comprehensive Seminar Planning Guide. Our books have received widespread acclaim from college teachers and accountants throughout the country and we hope you’ll consider these materials when learning or teaching QuickBooks. Our November 2005 QuickBooks Consultant's Conference is really starting to take shape. We have had incredible response from sponsors and our attendance is growing quickly. With nearly 5 months to go, we’re already 40% sold out and we expect to be sold out very soon. The conference dates are November 9-11, 2005 in Las Vegas, so make sure you save the date and make your reservations today.

QuickBooks Fundamentals & Intermediate QuickBooks Books Released for Version 2005

We have completed two of our "Learning QuickBooks Step-by-Step" Teaching System books. Both books are in stock and available. The first is our QuickBooks Fundamentals book. This book is 426 pages and is packed with information on Managing Revenue and Expenses, Bank Reconciliation, Reports & Graphs, Company File Set up and Maintenance and Customizing QuickBooks. This book is intended for self study and for classroom teaching. The book is priced at $35 but if you plan to buy more than one the price goes down to $30 per book. Better yet, if you are a Sleeter Group Consultant you pay only $25 per book.

Our second book in the series is the NEW "Intermediate QuickBooks" for Version 2005. This 441 page book covers Pass Throughs, Inventory, Sales Tax, Time Tracking, Payroll Setup and Payroll Processing, Estimates and Sales Orders, Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning as well as Adjustments and Year-End Procedures.
