Reimbursable Expenses using an Asset Account

Georgia contributes an article on using an Asset account to track reimbursable
expenses.
... By definition, pass-through items or reimbursable expenses
are assets, not expenses. Pass-through items are expenditures that, at
least initially, your client intends to invoice to customers.
