The Sleeter Group Cuts Pricing on Sleeter Consultant Membership

Same Benefits, Lower Price Offers Relief for Accounting Professionals and Firms

Pleasanton, CA - July 14, 2010 - The Sleeter Group, the nation's leading education and networking organization for accounting software consultants, accountants, and bookkeepers, announced a reduction in membership fees for new and existing members of the Sleeter Group Consultants Network, as well as new firm level pricing, effective immediately.

Now for only $295 per year, a reduction in half from the prior first-year membership pricing, individuals receive all the benefits of membership, including a copy of the 600+ page Consultant's Reference Guide, a robust online Experts Forum, secure FTP powered by ShareFile for file sharing with clients, QuickBooks certification and marketing assistance, a monthly conference call hosted by Doug Sleeter full of technical topics, the ability to resell partner solutions, and more.

Firm level pricing is now also available, providing access to the full array of membership benefits for up to five individuals in a single accounting, bookkeeping, or consulting firm for only $695 per year.

"We instituted these pricing changes because we know how tough the economy continues to be for many of the consultants who could use the membership benefits the most. We want to help them prosper, and also ensure that new consultants have the support they need to be successful right from the get-go," states Doug Sleeter, president of The Sleeter Group. "And the firm level pricing was created in response to requests from our members who have colleagues and business partners who they would also like to see in the group."

The Sleeter Group has also instituted Automated Paperless Billing as the default means for managing membership renewals, to reduce paper and other administrative hassles. Consultants complete a simple Automated Paperless Billing form when they join, with their credit card number or Bill.com account information, and they are automatically renewed each year. The Sleeter Group is making a contribution to the National Arbor Day Foundation for each subscription under this service. Individuals or Firms opting out of Automated Paperless Billing are assessed a $50 per year surcharge on their account.
