Privacy: The privacy of our visitors is important to us. We recognize that privacy of your personal information is important. Here is information on what types of personal information we receive and collect when you use our blog, and how we safeguard your information.

  •  We never sell your personal information to third parties. As with most other websites, we collect and use the data contained in log files. The information in the log files includes your IP (internet protocol) address, your ISP (internet service provider), the browser you used to visit our site, the time you visited our site and which pages you visited throughout our site.
  • We do have advertisers, and some of these advertisers may use technology such as cookies and web beacons when they advertise on our site, which will also send these advertisers  information including your IP address, your ISP , the browser you used to visit our site, and in some cases, whether you have Flash installed. Beyond this, we do not use cookies to store information.

Disclaimer: We don’t charge you for the information in this blog – no subscription fee, no membership fee. It is our hope that you will find the information here useful and beneficial to your business. Since we are a business, however, and we do rely on some things to generate income. So, in the interest of full disclosure:

  • We sometimes run paid ads on the blog website. We are very happy if you click on these ads, because that makes our advertisers happy. The happier they are, the more income we generate. We are very picky about the ads we run.
  • We also will run ads (or include links) to our own products. Please look at what we have to offer, we think that there is great value there!

  • Sometimes a vendor may provide us with a free copy of a product so that we can review it. Sometimes we get the free copy After we’ve written the review.

We hope that this doesn’t annoy or offend you. We can state, categorically, that our choice of products to review is not affected by the existence of an ad or affiliate program, and that these fees do NOT affect our reviews. If we like the product, we’ll say so. If the product has limitations, we’ll expose them (if we find them). If you don’t agree with our conclusions in a review, feel free to leave a comment – we will not edit or remove comments unless you use language we don’t find acceptable.
