Online Accounting through InsynQ's e-Accounting

Since it is so easy to “take your ball and go home”, there is really no harm in trying out this service.

Working closer with your QuickBooks clients is easy and simple when you have access to the application and the data all the time. Your client is able to see what they need and get the information they require, but you have control. You can access their data, make entries and adjustments, produce reports and checks... and do it all when it makes sense for both you and the client.   Working online gives you the freedom and flexibility to work when and where you need to, while providing a higher level of attention and service to your QuickBooks clients

The Virtual Desktop is the next level of hosting service offered by e-Accounting.  The virtual desktop is essentially a Windows workstation that is accessed via a Web browser.  The applications and data are all running on e-Accounting servers and are backed up and virus protected, so you have only to log in to get access to your programs and information.  When a user requires more applications than just QuickBooks hosting, the Virtual Desktop is the service that allows for hosting of multiple applications and complete desktop integration.  Custom hosting environments are also offered, which allows the firm to have all the applications and features they run in their office – including practice management, engagement, and tax software – and access all of it via e-Accounting.  When the client data is also hosted, the process to retrieve that data into the tax or engagement software becomes fairly seamless and can have significant positive impacts on the firm’s ability to process a volume of returns.

The e-Accounting document management system, called docs.cpaasp, can be used separately, or with a virtual desktop subscription.  The document management system is hosted and managed by e-Accounting, and enables you to securely store, index, search, and retrieve documents from any Internet-connected PC.  The docs software does not use a Web browser, so it offers all the features and functionality you would expect from desktop software while still being an Internet-based system.

e-Accounting’s model allows you to start with a subscription for yourself, and then bring your clients online with the service. Now they, too, can access their accounting from anywhere. If the client business has multiple locations, you can provide them with a service that allows all their offices to be working on the same set of books in real time. Once you start bringing clients onto the system, bring up your other staff members, too, so that they can work on the client books. Everyone is working on the same system, the same platform, the same version of the application, and all the data is up-to-date and real time.
