What's New in QuickBooks 2006

QuickBooks 2006 is an upgrade to Intuit's market-leading accounting software product. The 2006 version is the most significant upgrade to QuickBooks in several years and we're very impressed.

Although we've had several reports from users having trouble getting the software installed and working smoothly in their environments (usually older, or out-of-date windows systems), we believe most of the issues are (or will be) overcome by updating incompatible or older systems and software. Undoubtedly, there will also be fixes coming from Intuit in the form of downloadable updates that will resolve issues identified by these users.

Some of the installation problems might be overcome by reading the sections in this document and fully understanding how QuickBooks 2006 is different from the earlier versions.
