InsynQ's E-Accounting

With the availability of computing technology today, there is no reason why you and your clients shouldn't have real-time access to your data and applications. InsynQ has created the e-Accounting model which encompasses virtual computing, hosted applications and IT infrastructure management.
The aim of e-Accounting is to take the IT burden off the end-user and link accounting professionals to their clients' data files seamlessly.
e-Accounting offers a real Windows workstation with hosted instances of MS Office, QuickBooks and over 170 other applications. The workstation, which is appropriately titled the Virtual Desktop, can be accessed from any PC, Mac, Linux or UNIX based computer.
One of the benefits of e-Accounting is that you can simplify getting client accounting data, stop running disks back and forth, and stop trying to email large files. Based on computing needs, a user can have an Accounting Station which is a hosted instance of QuickBooks, or a Virtual Desktop which is the entire workstation with multiple hosted applications. With the Virtual Desktop, you can have the applications you and your clients already use. For instance, if a client is using QuickBooks Pro 2005 and another is using QuickBooks Premier Contractor, you can have both editions on your desktop and your clients will only have the edition they use on their desktop.
E-Accounting uses industry standard firewalled US-based servers to store, secure and manage the user's data. The benefit of remote data storage is that users never have to worry about backing up, protecting data or retrieving lost files. They play a major role in disaster recovery for businesses that lose their infrastructure or data due to any incident or natural disaster.
The e-Accounting package includes 100 Megs of storage per user or 1 GB per company, McAfee anti-virus scanning, automatic backup, and customer support via email, web, and phone.
The technology behind the e-Accounting model is Microsoft Windows Terminal Services and Citrix Metaframe. Using the Citrix ICA Client, users can connect to these servers from anywhere in the world using any Internet-connected PC, Mac or Linux/Unix computer. These products provide users with a comfortable, familiar work environment that looks and functions exactly like the desktop software they are used to.
Users can move files between their computer and the Virtual Desktop and print their work to almost any printer connected to their computer. This combination of technologies also provides multiple layers of security, including SSH-secured web logins, dedicated firewalls, Windows Active Directory authentication and NTFS file-level permissions. The E-Accounting services are also distributed across many physical servers and automatically load-balanced, minimizing the impact of hardware or software problems with any one server.
