A "BillQuick" Way to Accept PayPal

Author: The Sleeter Group  Created: Wed Aug 31 16:39:09 2005

You want to get paid fast. You want it to be easy and fast for clients to pay you.

Many firms accept (or are considering) credit cards as a client payment option. But there are downsides.

  1. To perform this task efficiently and securely requires finding and training the right staff—sometimes over and over again. It may be fast and easy for clients, but it’s a hidden cost that hits firm productivity and profits.
  2. Identity theft is a real concern. Clients increasingly hesitate when asked to hand over credit card information. They don’t know how secure your systems are, where their information is being kept, and who can access it. Most don’t know how to ask security questions, and usually can’t understand the answers. Mostly, they feel asking will insult your integrity.

Taking on the challenge, BQE Software improved its top-rated BillQuick Time & Billing software by adding PayPal Integration.

BillQuick automates much of the process, requiring minimum effort from clients and from your staff.

Setup requires only two simple items: PayPal account and email address. That’s it. BillQuick handles the rest for you.

When you email an invoice to a client, the Portable Document Format (PDF) attachment contains the PayPal logo and web link.

Your clients click the link, enter their PayPal login (or set up a free account) on the Checkout page.

Then verify (or fill in) the default billing information. As an extra security measure, they must type the characters inside the human-only readable graphics box. A couple more clicks and your invoice is paid. Typical processing is under 1 minute.

Bottom Line

BillQuick + PayPal =

Flexible – Clients can choose to pay with a credit card or from a checking or special bank account. If they have a PayPal Fund Account, they can transfer payment from it.

Easy – Clients follow a few prompts. No writing checks. No overhead of processing tasks. And for you, an email tells you when a client pays. A payment report makes payment-invoice reconciliation a breeze.

Fast – Clients pay your bill in under a minute. You get the monies in your account fast.

Secure – Clients share personal and company information within an environment with the highest security possible.
