The
Sleeter Group would like to congratulate our Magnificent Members of 2010! Each year at the Accounting Solutions Conference, we present this award to up to five of our members, who are nominated by their peers in various categories. These individuals take full advantage of their membership in the Sleeter Group Consultants Network, and work hard to develop their competency and expertise in their own consulting practices.
As always, the nominations were outstanding this year and it was quite difficult for us to choose from the wide array of excellence in our network. However, we were able to narrow down the selections to a winner in each of the following categories: Prolific Poster, Top Techie, Best Business Coach, Nuanced Networker, and the Consultants’ Choice Award.
The
PROLIFIC POSTER AWARD goes to the Consultant who participates most frequently in our online Experts Forum, and whose advice we can always trust. Comments we received on this Consultant are that she always provides lots of answers, you can rely on what she says, and that if you count the postings, she appears the most! The Prolific Poster Award goes to Kathy Coffman of Amherst, Ohio.
The TOP TECHIE AWARD goes to the Consultant who has the most accounting software and networking technical knowledge and isn't afraid to share it. Comments we received were that he is so knowledgeable, and he consistently offers easy-to-understand tech advice. One submitter said, “This person worked remotely with one of my clients, providing a higher level networking and QuickBooks Enterprise solution than I could provide myself. He helped me out, but let me keep the rest of the sale. He even had the client’s two IT staff members watch what he was doing, proving his willingness to share his knowledge.”
The Top Techie Award goes to, for the third year in a row, Mario Nowogrodzki of Pembroke Pines, Florida.
The BEST BUSINESS COACH AWARD is for the Consultant who takes on the role of business coach and gives the best business advice and/or referrals. We received these comments on the winner of this award: “I chose this person based on her answers, suggestions and recommendations.” “I attended her Webinar in the Intuit Virtual Conference and it was very informative regarding making ProAdvisor a more positive experience.” The Best Business Coach Award went to Ruth Perryman of Roseville, California.
The NUANCED NETWORKER AWARD is for the Consultant who seems to know everyone, and who wants to make sure that everyone knows everyone else. Networking is so important in this business, and the community we have is a great one, so networking should come easy.
But this person does it better than anyone else. This person is reported to work very hard to provide a forum for QuickBooks consultants in her area for networking and for referring projects to each other, promoting The Sleeter Group in the process. She has started a Meetup group, a Web site for Sleeter Consultants to post their profiles for potential clients, and a mailing list to announce potential projects. The Nuanced Networker Award goes to Shelly Robbins of Seattle, Washington.
Finally, we have the CONSULTANTS’ CHOICE AWARD. We opened up the categories for our Consultants to be creative, choosing the category as well as the nominee! This year we decided to present the QuickBooks Expert Award. This award goes to the Consultant who’s awesome. She knows QuickBooks inside and out and is so willing to share her knowledge. The winner of the Consultants’ Choice Award for her QuickBooks expertise is Nancy Gomez of
Santa Barbara, California.
Congratulations to all of the Magnificent Member Award winners!
