Personable Inc., has released SourceLink®, the first cost effective electronic document management solution for QuickBooks Pro and Premier editions 2004 (and above) and QuickBooks Enterprise 4.0 (and above). SourceLink delivers a component previously missing in QuickBooks that allows users to link electronic files to their QuickBooks records from within the QuickBooks application itself. SourceLink lets users instantly store and retrieve financial records - bills, invoices, customer agreements, etc. - directly from QuickBooks. SourceLink also lets users attach electronic “sticky notes” directly to 25 different record types in QuickBooks.

QuickBooks users have spent too much time searching for customer's orders within QuickBooks invoices, searching vendor's invoices with QuickBooks bill payments, and looking for source documents to verify QuickBooks entries were completed by staff. The process of linking documents is as simple as adding an attachment to an e-mail. SourceLink helps to avoid problems with misfiled, damaged or lost documents. SourceLink enables the sharing of files with other users. Up to ten documents of various file formats may be attached to a single record. The user can link files already stored on the computer or scan additional files directly into SourceLink. The user can keep track and stay on top of the issues associated with each QuickBooks record by using electronic “sticky notes.” SourceLink notes can be viewed by all who work in the QuickBooks company file, facilitatating communication between employees.
